Aquaponic is a synergistic fusion of hydroponics
(growing
plants in water) and aquaculture (fish farming). While the fish
fertilize the plants with natural nutrients of its waste products, the
plants in turn filter the water for the fish.
The integration of plants and fish necessitates that
NO chemical pesticides be used.It is an eloquent, balanced, organic
system.
Raising fish and growing vegetables is one activity
worth
exploring. Enjoy the great taste and advantages of fresh, natural and
healthy food. You will help reduce worldwide demand
for scare
resources and mitigate the rising food cost.
Go for this Eco-friendly way of producing sustainable
fish
and vegetables for your own consumption. Aquaponic works well for those
with limited space too. Take action and start the journey!

Want to keep a single paned glass greenhouse warmer, how to affix plastic to it?
My single paned glass 6' x 8' greenhouse is in a fairly sheltered spot, so misses most winds to cool it, but I want to add better insulation, to help retain heat.I've got some polystyrene sheets on one shady side, but a lot of heat is lost at the highest central point.I'm not a DIY expert, but have thought of putting some plastic or polystyrene in the centre,on the shady side, and also have some extra large air bubble packaging they're about 6'' x 4'' per unit. What ways could these be best fixed in the greenhouse, as well as the polystyrene that I get free from shop's packaging please? I do heat with a thermostatic electric heater, to keep it frost free. Any other tips readily received. I've also wondered whether adding a tarpaulin on cold nights would help, but worried it would be a major job and would need removing before daylight, to allow sun to enter. Thank you for any help.

INSULATING GLASS GREENHOUSE?
My mother has a glass greenhouse 16x30'. Glass and aluminum transfers cold into the greenhouse quickly during the winter. She has tried bubblewrap on the sides as well as foam panels, and plastic sheeting over the top, etc. Does anyone have any things they HAVE ALREADY USED that have helped insulate a greenhouse or helped with the heat? If you have tried it and it worked please comment.
