What is the best and most economically way to heat water for a small greenhouse?
I have a small greenhouse and want to increase the temps of the water. Was originally looking at the " tank less" heaters, preferable the 120 volts, I knew I could handle hooking this type up. But I found negative reports on how well these work from consumer reports. I also thought about using a small 40 gal. water heater also. I will have to hire someone to hook this up if it is a 240v or gas, tho I have access to natural gas, and if that is best, I will just have to bit the bullet. Any opinions on water heaters will be so helpful to me, I only have to water a 100 orchids or so, thanks Lee

Which is warmer in wintertime, a small shed or a small greenhouse?
I'd like to keep the temperature in a shed or greenhouse around 60 80 F year round, but I live in a place that gets very hot and humid in summer 85 100 F and very cold below freezing every night and most days .Which would be better a shed or a greenhouse for 1. Keeping humidity down.2. Keeping it cool in summer and warm in winter. And how would I go about doing the above? It wouldn't be attached to a house or anything, so running a line out wouldn't work. Basically I need it to be as comfortable as an indoor room, but separate from my living quarters.Any ideas or thoughts would be great

Could I make a small greenhouse to cover my sago palm tree during the winter ?
I recently bought a sago palm tree and I really want to plant it in the ground instead of a pot so that it can grow to the fullest.. The only problem is that I live in Pennsylvania were the winters are really cold and harsh. Would it be possible to make a small greenhous just to cover the sago palm tree during only the winter months ?
